Biography

Hoi, Chun-Keung (Stan) is an associate professor of finance in the College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Hoi earned his Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics at the Arizona State University in 1997. He has a MS (1989) and a BS (1987) in economics both at the University of North Texas.

His current research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, and "law and finance". He has published in academic journals. His recent works on the labor market for directors and director compensation have appeared in the Journal of Finance and the Financial Management. His teaching interests include corporate finance, investment, international finance and economics.
