Biography
Shal Khazanchi is an Assistant Professor of Management. Her research interests fall broadly in two streams, organizational fairness, and creativity and innovation. In the area of fairness, Shal's work has examined how employees assess organizational and supervisory fairness, and the effect of fairness perceptions on important outcomes such as employee creativity. In the area of creativity and innovation, her research seeks to understand the effects of various contextual and social factors on employee creativity and organizational innovation. Her current research include understanding processes underlying the production of creative ideas and products as well as creative judgments. Her research has been published or accepted in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Operations Management, and Journal of Organizational Behavior.
